Q: How are permanent cosmetics procedures performed?
A: Permanent cosmetic procedures are performed using various machines and methods. The machine that I use is Nouveau Contour Intelligent, where others might choose a Coil Machine, Rotary Pen or even the hand method
Q: Is It Painful?
A: The application of permanent cosmetics involves a minor discomfort. Although during the entire procedure topical anesthetic is applied
Q: Is the procedure Safe?
  All procedures are performed in a completely sterile environment. The practitioner should be using a one-time pre-packed sterile needle, which is opened in front of the client and disposed of immediately after the completion of the procedure. All practitioners use the strictest sanitation and sterilization procedure
Q: How long does each procedure take?
A: Most procedures generally take 1-2 hours, but that includes your numbing time, paper work and drawing on the procedure first.
Q: How long does the procedure last?
  Permanent cosmetics last anywhere between 2-5 years, depending on the individual.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The average price for permanent cosmetics is between $400.00 ~ $750.00 depending on which procedure you desire. The price also includes your first touch up, which is done anywhere between six weeks and three months of your initial procedure.
Q: Why do I need a touch so soon after having the procedure done?
A: This touch up is solely for the purpose of making any final enhancements. Such as: darker or thicker
Q: Are Permanent Cosmetics really permanent?
A: Permanent Cosmetics is implanted in the dermal layer of the skin, therefore it cannot be washed off. Although in time fading will occur and a touch will be needed to maintain the maximum of color.
Q: What to expect?
A: Slight irritation swelling, redness, tenderness, and occasional bruising. Ice packs to the area can help minimize these symptoms.
Q: Do I need to take any precaution for a lip procedure?
A: If you ever had a cold sore or fever blister in you life, you will almost certainly break out with fever blisters on your lips and lose the implanted pigment color in the area of the outbreak. Failure to follow these recommendations may result into an out break which could last up to 6 weeks. In order to prevent this from occurring, it is essential to obtain a prescription from you physician for Anti-Viral therapy
Q: Can I tint my lashes/eyebrows?
A: Tinting should not be done until several weeks after permanent cosmetic procedure. Tint could cause irritation to the area
Q: What if I need an MRI?
A: It has been researched and proven that it is perfectly safe to have an MRI with iron oxide pigments .Be sure to inform the MRI technician. www.mrisafety.com
Q: Can I tan?
A: Do not tan two weeks before your procedure. You can tan when you are totally healed, but tanning by any method will fade some pigment colors.
   
  You will be scheduled for at least one follow-up visit to do any touch-up work and ensure your procedure meets your expectations.
